BBC: Megachurch Leader Raped And Tortured Worshippers

NIGERIA – The BBC has uncovered evidence of widespread abuse and torture by the late founder of one of the world’s largest christian evangelical churches, the synagogue church of all nations. 

Former members, including five British individuals, allege atrocities such as rape and forced abortions by Nigeria’s T. B. Joshua over almost 20 years. 

The church did not respond to the allegations, but the BBC’s two-year investigation includes accounts of physical violence, sexual assault, and fake “miracle healings.” Victims describe experiences akin to being in a cult.
