BDOCS Commissioner: “It Took Them Two Years to Draw the New Prison”
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Its been years in the making, and plans are still underway for upgrades at the Bahamas Department of Corrections (BDOCS). Last November, government broke ground for the new corrections department facility and courthouse, signaling a step closer to the construction of the long-awaited 3-level security prison. However, Commissioner Doan Cleare shared on Monday that plans for the construction of the new facility are still in the works.
