UNITED STATES – Bill and Hillary Clinton have refused to testify before a Republican-led house investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, calling the probe partisan and politically motivated.

In a joint letter to James Comer, the Clintons said they have already shared what they describe as limited information and will not appear.

Comer says the House Oversight Committee will meet next week to consider holding Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress, with similar action possible against Hillary Clinton.

Bill Clinton has previously said he regrets his association with Epstein and denies any knowledge of criminal activity, as the U.S. Department of Justice continues releasing Epstein-related files.
