NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Describing the Protection Against Violence Bill as one that’s comprehensive and multi-sectoral, Prime Minister Philip Davis says the legislation, once passed will serve as a turning point in the country.

He says the bill is one that will mark the journey of a safer Bahamas for everyone.

Despite this, Member of Parliament for Saint Barnabas Shanendon Cartwright hinted at the fact that many of the leading women organizations do not support this bill and government should hit the pause button.
