Bishop Woodley Thompson Named Church of God of Prophecy Leader
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Usually a change in leadership comes with a new mandate and according to Bishop Woodley Thompson, his focus will be on restoring relationships on several fronts.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Usually a change in leadership comes with a new mandate and according to Bishop Woodley Thompson, his focus will be on restoring relationships on several fronts.
Thompson who is also a dentist by profession says the various ministries of the church will also be geared towards helping those in the community that may find themselves in difficult times. He says, its already started.
Thompson has been a pastor in the Church of God of Prophecy for just over 20 years and has served as a district supervisor in New Providence.
But the new role isn’t completely new to him. He says his father served in the same role more than 50 years ago and will be there to see him take the post this Sunday.
Despite his background in ministry, he says never saw leadership on this level in the cards for him.
As for the way forward, Thompson says he’s only relying on one person.
