GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – A frantic, scary and potentially life-threatening scenario this morning at the Grand Bahama International Airport. Shortly after 10 a.m. all staff and passengers had to evacuate the terminal after a phone call to police set the tone for the events of the rest of the morning. Police Press Liaison for Grand Bahama, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Stephen Rolle, updating Our News on the scene.

Patrelle Smith says she had just arrived to work shortly after 11 a.m. when she was told to leave the building due to the threat.

Henrick Moos and Shannon Backsik both on Grand Bahama conducting work when they got the news of the bomb threat.

And as to what happened to said female and the suspicious device?

The Grand Bahama International Airport has since been re-opened and fully operational.
