Brazil Truckers Protest Bolsonaro Loss
BRAZIL – Brazilian truckers who support defeated president Jair Bolsonaro blocked hundreds of roads Tuesday to protest the election.
BRAZIL – Brazilian truckers who support defeated president Jair Bolsonaro blocked hundreds of roads Tuesday to protest the election of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
Since Silva was declared the victor Sunday night truckers hammed traffic across the country refusing to acknowledge Bolsonaro’s defeat.
The highway to the populous state and the largest economy was blocked causing flight cancellations leaving frustrated passengers rolling suitcases along the highway.
Bolsonario lost the race by a thin margin.
Only 41.9% to silva’s 50.9%.
