Brazilian Police Hunt Dangerous Prisoners

BRAZIL – Police in Brazil are searching for one of Rio’s most dangerous drug lords, Jean Carlos dos Santos, after they say he broke out of jail with two fellow inmates.

The three escaped from bangu prison by tying bed-sheets together and lowering themselves from a prison window.

The 37-year-old is notorious for having had his lawyer killed after failing to get two gang members released.

Dos Santos had been in prison since 2017.
