NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Junkanoo is back, and not just on New Providence, as Family Islanders are getting ready to rush again.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Junkanoo is back, and not just on New Providence, as Family Islanders are getting ready to rush again.
The Bahamas Striping Group of Companies helping an Exuma group by donating $5000 to the Musical Youths Junkanoo group.
Group Leader Ricardo Rolle says finding sponsorship for the 120-member group has been a challenge.
He says the money will be sent to New Providence for raw materials needed to prepare for the January 10 parade.
