Pacers Beat Bulls 117-113

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, USA -Buddy Hield lit the Chicago Bulls up for 27 points to lead his Indiana Pacers to a win against the Chicago Bulls 117-113.

Hield hit 6 three-pointers along the way to break the franchise’s single-season record of 229 set by Hall-of-Famer Reggie Miller in 1997.

The Pacers had to mount a furious comeback to secure this victory as the Bulls were leading 39-15 in the first quarter. Things seemed to go nowhere for the Pacers as they were still down 19 in the third quarter.

But Hield did what he does best: shot the ball making all 6 of his 3-pointers in the 2nd half to will the Pacers back in the game. They would take the final lead with less than a minute left in the game on a Myles Turner free throw.

Hield had 4 rebounds and 1 assist to go along with his 27. Myles Turner had 17 points and 9 rebounds and Aaron Nesmith added 21 points and 7 rebounds. Zach Lavine had 35 points, 11 rebounds and 7 rebounds for the Bulls.

The Pacers will host the Boston Celtics after the all-star break on February 23.
