UNITED STATES – Barbie could cost more this Christmas as toymaker Mattel says U.S. tariffs are driving up costs that will be passed on to shoppers.

The company says it also plans to cut how many toys it makes in China for the American market.

Meanwhile car giant Ford says it’s taking a $1.5 billion hit too, blaming Trump’s steep import taxes.

Additionally, brands like Adidas, Intel, and Procter & Gamble all warn prices may rise and a recession may be looming.
