VATICAN CITY – Catholic cardinals held a final mass at the Vatican on Sunday for the late Pope Francis, marking the end of nine days of mourning known as the Novendiali. The ceremony, led by French Cardinal Dominique Mamberti, took place in St. Peter’s Basilica, just days before a major decision. On Tuesday, 133 cardinals will gather inside the Sistine Chapel to choose the Church’s next leader, who will become the 267th pope in Catholic Church history.
