CARICOM Chair to Meet With Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago
THE CARIBBEAN – The chair of the Caribbean Community Terrance Drew is headed to Trinidad and Tobago this week for high-level talks with regional leaders.
THE CARIBBEAN – The chair of the Caribbean Community Terrance Drew is headed to Trinidad and Tobago this week for high-level talks with regional leaders.
Caricom announced this week Dr. Drew is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and members of her Cabinet as part of his push for direct face-to-face engagement across the region.
The visit follows meetings held just last week in Kingstown.
Caricom says the outreach is aimed at strengthening regional dialogue and coordination among member states.
