Case Dismissed After Suspect In Teacher’s Murder Killed By Cop

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A pending murder case officially came to an end with the presentation of a death certificate for the accused.

28-year-old Makaveli Tinker was awaiting a retrial for the 2015 murder of school teachers Joyelle Mcintosh during an attempted armed robbery, when he was gunned down in February by an off-duty officer.

Tinker was the second person accused of involvement in McIntosh death who met a violent end after their convictions were overturned in 2021.

In 2022, Armando Sargent was gunned following an argument with another man in Sea Breeze.
