NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Here at home, we’re well on the road to fifty, the countdown only days away. For our neighbors to the west in the United States, their big day is today.

Bahamian beaches were dotted with red white and blue today as American visitors celebrated the fourth of July.

This is the first time Sydney has ever travelled outside of the United States.

For Jessica and her friends, the fourth of July is more than just America’s birthday, it’s also her birthday.

We also asked them how it feels to be here while we gear up to celebrate our golden jubilee.
