NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The initiative coincides with financial literacy month, recognized globally in April. But this year’s event took a different spin focused exclusively on educating the next generation of leaders.

Public Relations Officer Kevin Demeritte emphasized the importance of equipping students with financial knowledge.

The event aimed to empower students with essential financial skills, ranging from budgeting to understanding digital payment systems. Giving students the opportunity to engage with representatives from various financial service providers, including Sand-Dollar, Sun Cash, and Kanoo.

Kanoo PR and Communications Officer is Scieska Adderley.

Through these engagements, students gained practical insights into managing their finances effectively, helping Central Bank meet a commitment of promoting financial literacy among the youth, while preparing them for financial responsibilities in the years come.
