Charlton came second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 12.64 behind American Hurdler Alaysha Johnson.

The meet was the latest stop on the World Athletics Continental Tour.

This wing of the tour will have the sprinters racing throughout Europe for most of the summer.

Also, the 2023 Junior and Senior Track and Field Nationals set to take place at the Thomas A. Robinson Stadium next month.

It’ll be a chance for some of our junior and senior athletes to attain more points to increase their world ranking.

Meanwhile, the Bahamas Aquatics Federation has a very busy summer ahead.

The National Swimming Championships will be held next week, June 15th-18th at the Betty Kelly Kenning National Stadium.

The best swimmers from across the country ages 8 to adulthood will compete for a chance to qualify for the World Aquatics Meet in Paris in 2024.

In addition, the federation also announced that Davante Carey, Rhanishka Gibbs, Lamar Taylor, and Zaylie-Elizabeth Thompson are headed to Fukuoka, Japan to represent The Bahamas at the World Aquatics Championships, July 15th-30th.
