NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Christmas coming a week early for Fox Hill residents as the local festival committee held its holiday giveaway.

Hundreds of residents stood in line for a hot meal, groceries and a bag of clothes.

Tourism and International Coordinator for the Committee Gorgette Garviner says the need in the community was recognized early on.

Garviner expressing this passionate statement about why initiatives like these are important.

And she credits the public and corporate Bahamas for helping to make Friday’s Christmas donation possible.

Senators also shared in the holiday cheer, including Senate President Lashell Adderley.
