GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – A talented Canadian singer, whose career spans over 30 years, is bringing his talent to The Bahamas.

Those beautiful vocals coming from Canadian baritone singer James Westman. The classical singer has appeared in many of the world’s leading opera, recital and concert halls earning him lots of support from audiences across the world.

Westman recently purchased a home in Grand Bahama after years of traveling the world.

The baritone singer has been visiting Grand Bahama for years but on a recent visit he saw a home that he fell in love with.

He says his music career all began with a scholarship to sing with the American Boys Choir.

Westman has also recorded with many renowned companies including, BCC, CBC and Decca Records, some have even been nominated for Grammy awards.

Westman recalled the moment his career took off.

Westman has now found a love for vocal training of professional young opera singers who have gone on to prestigious opera programs and professional careers.

He’s also done several master classes online. He now wants to bring his talent to Grand Bahama by teaching young people how to sing.

And for those that are interested in singing, he says to get involved in your local choirs.
