NASSAU , BAHAMAS – The Coalition of Independents outlines their plans for the country.

The plans included promises to tackle immigration, healthcare, energy, and the cost of living.

The C.O.I made their case to voters in laying out a 100 day plan of things they’ll tackle right away if elected to office.

The Coalition of Independents continues to make its case for why voters should support them in the upcoming general elections.

The C.O.I.is vocal on many issues, perhaps loudest on immigration with leader, Lincoln Bain, saying if elected, the Ministries of National Security and Immigration will be merged.

“If you rent your place to an illegal immigrant, you lock up if you hire an illegal immigrant, you lock up you’re gonna pay a fine initially after that you may lose your business license”

Deputy Party leader, Dr. Veronica McIver, laid out their recovery plan.

They are promising to raise nurse wages, deploy a hospital ship, and mobilize the Southwest New Providence Hospital Project.

“We have broken equipment and not to mention exhausted staff listen we have to rescue and stabilize this system in the first 10 days”

The country’s third party, also laid out their vision when it comes to the cost of living and energy, promising immediate relief.

“We would like to reduce the monthly expenditures by 102 $140 a month that’s the first immediate expenditure, it’s gonna be talking about electricity. You don’t have a groceries. All right we talking about internet all right I’ll be talking about even insurance and medicine.”

There are also grand plans for the construction of a 100 megawatt solar power plant in six months.

They are also promising that every Bahamian adult will receive at least one acre of crown land if elected, all within the first 100 days.
