NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A community council meeting is set to be held in Guyana this week ahead of CARICOM’s regular heads of government meeting next month.

Leading the country’s delegation to Guyana will be Foreign Affairs Minister Fred Mitchell.

Speaking to Our News from Washington, Mitchell explained the significance of this week’s upcoming meeting.

The meeting in Guyana this week will pave the way for next month’s CARICOM’s heads of government meeting in Nassau.
