Confessed Child Killer Gets 40-Year Sentence for Adriel Moxey’s Murder
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of raping and murdering 12-year-old Adriel Moxey has taken a plea deal for the horrific crime.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of raping and murdering 12-year-old Adriel Moxey has taken a plea deal for the horrific crime.
Chris Ferguson appeared before Justice Guillimina Archer-Minns Thursday morning and pleaded guilty to murder, unlawful detention with the intention to have unlawful sexual intercourse and unlawful sexual intercourse.
Under the deal, Ferguson was sentenced to 40 years in prison with credit for the 13 months spent on remand.
He received concurrent sentences of 15 years for unlawful sexual intercourse and one year for unlawful detention.
