NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Royal Caribbean International is hoping to start construction of its $100 million dollar Paradise Island Royal Beach Club in the second quarter of 2024, but first environmental clearance is needed.

Chief Product Officer Jay Schneider providing an update following a Bahamas Chamber of Commerce Power Brunch onboard RCI’s Freedom of The Seas.

The plan is for the beach club to include private cabanas, pools, local architecture, island-style barbecues, live music and local artisans.

Schneider admitted the process is completely reliant on the government.

Once environmental clearance is given, he says the plan is to fast forward to cleaning up the property.
