The country’s state-run telecom provider says mobile data is gradually returning, but voice calls and texts are still facing major congestion.
No official reason has been given for the disruption.
It’s just the latest challenge for the island, already grappling with daily blackouts, fuel shortages, and economic hardship.
Locals say service began to return late Wednesday, but for hours, many couldn’t call, text, or get online.
