NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Athletes competed in semi-final action, Sunday, at the Thomas A Robinson Stadium, continuing in their quest to make the CARIFTA team.

Excitement was in the air as day two of the National High School Championships and CARIFTA trials kicked off on Sunday.

Hundreds were in attendance as they cheered on athletes in competition. Kaily Pratt, who won a silver medal in last year’s CARIFTA games says she has learned a lot and is ready to compete.

Winner of the under 17 100 meter dash, Jamiah Nabbie, and former silver medalist in last year’s games spoke about preparation for three events on the same day – the 100m, 200m and the long jump.
