NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The 7-year-old who died after being crushed by a collapsed swing set last week was remembers during a special prayer service and community walkabout last night. This as the church that organized the event taking their message of peace, love and unity to the streets.

Forty-year-old Carmetta Butler says all she has left now is memories of her daughter.

The loss of Davanya is a double blow to Butler who says she just buried her oldest son earlier this year.  With Davanya also gone, she is now a mother of five and grandmother to four.

Butler and her family were a part of a community prayer service and walkabout on Wednesday evening.

The event was hosted by Senior Pastor of Creative Christian Arts Ministries International, Apostle Henry Higgins, who says for the past four months, he along with others have been taking the message of love to the communities.

He says when he heard about the death of Davanya, he was lead to pray for and with her mother.

Minister of National Security, Wayne Munroe, also showed his support for Butler in a speech of condolences.
