NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Nine hundred participants in the Public Service Professional Engagement Programme are still waiting to be paid.

In a statement released on Sunday, The Ministry of Public Service noting that those employees who would have been due payments on Friday April 14th will receive their payments within the next 48 hours.

Public Service State Minister Pia Glover Rolle addressing those delays on Monday.

This is the second time that there has been payment delays to those in the programme.

Glover-Rolle says while she remains apologetic to those who have been affected by the payment delays, they are working on a solution to the problem.
