Deserving Bahamians Receive Scholarships

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Chevening Scholarship is the United Kingdom’s international awards program aimed at developing global leaders.

In existence since 1983, its helping tens of thousands of professionals obtain higher education.

Theominique Nottage is a Counsell and Attorney At Law who received a scholarship in 2015.

Nottage says she is grateful for the opportunity to study in the United Kingdom and encourages more Bahamians to take advantage of the opportunity.

Shanae Strachan earned her Master’s in producing film and television and is currently pursuing her passion in that field, after receiving a scholarship in 2020 recipient.

Strachan says that in addition to the top-tier education, she was also afforded a unique cultural experience.
