Buddy’s Hield’s lack of playing time and comments by 76ers executives leave many speculating on his future in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations, Daryl Morey questioned whether Hield fit into the roster structure.

Hield was acquired at the trade deadline and appeared in 32 games for Philadelphia, which also included the first playoff run of his career.

During that stretch he averaged 12 points per game while shooting 39 percent from three.

That playing time decreased significantly in the playoffs.

Through the first three games of the first-round series against the New York Knicks, hield totaled just 29 minutes on the court.

He was benched for the entirety of games four and five before he concluded the season with 20 points in game six.

This offseason, Hield will enter unrestricted free agency for the first time.
