You can find out this weekend at a health fair that focuses on raising awareness.
D’krizia Bartlett is the founder of Sickle Talk – a platform on Facebook which shares information of her personal experience with sickle cell disease.
If you feel you may have the disease, Bartlett says there are common symptoms to look out for.
If you want to find out more about sickle cell disease, Bartlett is hosting a know your status mini-health fair on Saturday at 10am at the Walk In Clinic’s Marathon Mall location.
