EXUMA, BAHAMAS – Deputy Prime Minister and Exumas and Ragged Island MP Chester Cooper is hitting back at critics who believed he should have missed his recent trip to Los Angeles after flooding damaged multiple homes on Exuma.

Cooper traveled to Los Angeles in his capacity as Minister of Tourism.

During his mission, Cooper made multiple appearances and met with the principals of Netflix to discuss the possibility of Bahamian films being shared there.

The tourism minister says the success of that mission will be positive for Exuma and the entire Bahamas.
