NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Following a case of flooding at the Lynden Pindling International Airport, Acting Prime Minister and Minister responsible Chester Cooper assuring the situation was properly handled.

Cooper says despite the incident, there was no disruption to services at the airport.

The Nassau Airport Development Company said failure in a fire suppression line ended in flooding in the Arrivals corridor near Bahamas immigration at the airport.

The acting prime minister says the next steps include preventative measures.
