Drug Possession Case Brought Against Corrections Officer

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 41-year-old corrections officer found himself on the wrong side of the law after police officers allegedly found an ounce of marijuana, and a gram of cocaine inside of his home.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 41-year-old corrections officer found himself on the wrong side of the law after police officers allegedly found an ounce of marijuana, and a gram of cocaine inside of his home.

Johnathan Minnis pleaded not guilty to two counts of possession of dangerous drugs at his arraignment before Magistrate Lennox Coleby.

His trial is set to start on February 26.

Minnis has been granted $5,000 bail and gas to check at the Wulff Road Police Station until his trial is completed.
