NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Don’t you wish you had a venue where you could host a cocktail party, while watching artists work on their next masterpiece?

Don’t stop there… while you’re having that cocktail party some of the island’s best musicians play in the background. Well, Baha Mar’s The Current: Eccho venue offers just that.

The Current’s new extension, Eccho, opened in Baha Mar in October of 2022, and it’s still a constantly evolving space, even their display walls able to move around the gallery, allowing them to be more creative.

Speaking of creative, Baha Mar’s Executive Director for Arts & Culture, John Cox tells Our News the space has also become a popular venue among the creatives in the nation’s capital.

And they only plan to expand from there, considering moving beyond live performance to films.

Cox says it’s all part of trying to stay ahead of the cutting edge of global trends while also catering to and uplifting local artists.
