Edgecombe, 76ers Eliminated in Second Round

UNITED STATES – VJ Edgecombe’s rookie season came to an end on Sunday afternoon in a game four loss to the New York Knicks 144-114 to clinch the second round series.

Edge­combe finished with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists.

In his first postseason, he averaged 14.6 points, 6 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game which included three doubles doubles.

Jones, Liberty Survive OT Thriller

Jonquel Jones and the New York Liberty edged the Washington Mystics 98–93 in overtime.

She finished with 13 points and 8 rebounds but eventually fouled out after just 24 minutes.

The shorthanded Liberty are 2-0 on the season and will travel to face Portland on Tuesday.

Munnings Wins Primera Feb Title in Spain

Bahamas national team veteran Travis Munnings helped Monbus Obradoiro in January with the team win the Primera Feb title, the first in club history.

In his short stint with the club, Munnings averaged just over 6 points and 4 rebounds per game, where now, Obradoiro eyes a return to the Liga ACB.

Munnings’ pro career has also featured stops in Portugal and France, with the last two years spent between the top two divisions in Spain.
