NASSAU, BAHAMAS – In a video that went viral in less than 24 hours at a Progressive Liberal Party branch meeting at Doris Johnson Senior High School, Elizabeth Member of Parliament JoBeth Coleby-Davis levied a direct attack on former MP and FNM chairman Dr. Duane Sands, saying Elizabeth is staying with the PLP.

But Sands says residents are saying something else.

In the viral video, Coleby-Davis laid out her list of accomplishments including houses built while she served as housing minister, taxi and livery plate distributions, and lowering power bills.

In the 2021 general election, Coleby-Davis won by 377 votes with 1893 votes in total.

Sands came in second with 1,516 votes.

While Coleby-Davis seems confident she will retain her seat, Sands is saying otherwise.
