NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man who escaped from the Magistrates’ Courts Complex Friday was back in court, Monday.

However, Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt suspended 25-year-old London Rahming’s arraignment until Wednesday after his lawyer raised concerns about his client’s mental health.

Bjorn Ferguson said that he would provide the court with Rahming’s medical history to support his argument that his client is not fit to plead.

In the meantime, Rahming was taken to the prison to begin serving a 15-month sentence for violating his bail conditions.

On Friday, Rahming pleaded guilty to cutting off the ankle bracelet he was wearing as part of his bail for an attempted murder that stemmed from a shooting that was live streamed on Facebook.

Rahming was charged with the attempted murder of Renaldo Georges, Evene Georges and Gerriah Adderley after he allegedly opened fire on their home on March 14.
