NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A local energy company teaming with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Ministry of Education for an Environmental Essay Competition.

Three students were awarded today for their efforts in the INTI Corporation Limited’s Environmental Essay Competition. The focus? How renewable and sustainable energy can significantly impact climate change in The Bahamas.

On hand for the presentations were Environment and Natural Resources Minister Vaughn Miller and State Minister for Education zane Lightbourne.

Both Miller and Lighbourne offering their praise to the students.

We also spoke to the winners.

That topic according to the newly crowned Environmental Youth Ambassador Makayla Kerr is something that students can lead discussions on.
