Excursion Licensing: “The Benefits Outweigh The Cost”

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Nicholas Pinder owns and operates Born Free Charters and is a member of The Bahamas Excursion Operators Association.
While the association was originally created to protect against unlicensed foreign excursion operators, it now works to protect the rights of licensed and legal Bahamian operators in the maritime field.
But they’re still pushing for people to be compliant explaining that when accidents happen to unlicensed operators it makes the whole industry look bad.
While getting the insurance needed to become licensed is not free, Pinder says the steps are simple and the benefits of being licensed outweigh the cost.
