NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 50-year-old man is being held without bail after he was arraigned for the murder of his nephew during an argument.

Prosecutors allege that Alfred McKinney shot and killed 28-year-old Christian McKinney during a dispute on November 6.

The incident happened in the family’s yard on Finlayson Street.

McKinney didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

He is scheduled to return to court on Aperil 16, 2025 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
