NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Cars lined up on Gladstone Road, John F Kennedy Drive, and Munnings Drive early Saturday morning as drivers waited for their share of the thanksgiving gas giveaway hosted by the Myles and Ruth Munroe Foundation.

The foundation’s Vice President, Myles Munroe Jr. and his wife helped people fill up.

He says it is important to continue the work his parents started, and this is just one of many initiatives the organization puts on.

Rubis Customer Service Ambassador Neno Newbold says the organizations have partnered on several initiatives like this over the years, and community outreach like this is just the right thing to do.

Munroe said he expected to serve some 400 persons. With gas prices hovering just around six dollars nationwide, residents like Chelsey Armaly were thankful.

Munroe says the foundation will continue its charitable work as they strengthen their pillars of leadership adoption, leadership guidance, education initiatives, and community partnership.
