NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The overnight downpour which crept into the morning may have left roads flooded, but it was no match for determined parents and kids who hit the streets saturday for final first day items.

Not the ideal conditions but as one parent told us if you don’t get it done today, then it’s too late.

However, there are some shoppers who enjoy the adrenaline of last minute shopping.

Jordan Musgrove, who is about to enter the 12th grade, says although it wasn’t easy traveling on the streets Saturday, back-to-school shopping is a sentimental experience for him and his mom.
