NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Education Minister says the data they’re now able to collect on students, thanks to their virtual platform, could be key in transforming the way we look at learning in The Bahamas.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Education Minister says the data they’re now able to collect on students, thanks to their virtual platform, could be key in transforming the way we look at learning in The Bahamas.
Virtual schooling was initially introduced during the pandemic and had its ups and downs with both connectivity and difficulty with certain students accessing the technology.
With students returning fully for another year of in-person, The Bahamas Virtual Learning Portal is more often used as a tool, instead of a classroom.
The Minister also hopes the virtual platform can help identify cases of social promotion early on.
