NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Free National Movement Chairman Dr. Duane Sands calling on a collaborative effort to combat crime in The Bahamas.

Dr. Sands says there are times when unusual interventions are needed and he believes this is one of those times.

Those solutions Dr. Sands says must be multifaceted and far-reaching.

This plea comes after three murders this weekend. The latest in Stapledon Gardens at around 10AM Saturday morning.

Following the tragic killings Prime Minister Philip Davis said his government is taking steps to deter crime, adding the minds of criminals need to be recalibrated.

However, the FNM chairman says resources should be made available to improve judicial capacity among other things.
