NASSAU, BAHAMAS – More criticism from the Opposition over the deputy prime minister’s projections for Grand Bahama’s International Airport.

Berthony McDermott explains why members are questioning a completion timeline, and calling a number of decisions by government worrisome.

Free National Movement Leader Michael Pintard said he is not sold on Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper’s projection for the completion of the Grand Bahama International Airport by early 2025.

Pintard said the government has made a number of steps that were worrisome.

The deputy prime minister revealed recently that a company has been identified to purchase the airport but pintard says he is confident the newly appointed board played no part in the selection process.
