NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Amid a clear divide within the Free National Movement, Party Leader Michael Pintard reveals that his leadership was never fully accepted by former Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis.

While appearing as a guest on ‘On The Record’ with host Jerome Sawyer Thursday, Pintard admitted the lack of support was not unexpected.

Former Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis led the FNM to a devastating defeat in the 2021 General Election, losing the party leadership to Pintard shortly after.

Since then, Pintard has faced ongoing speculation that a faction within the party continues to support Dr. Minnis.

Now all roads lead to Saturday where FNM’s nationwide will have their say on who will lead the party into the next general election.
