NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An emotional chairman of the Free National Movement’s Tall Pines Constituency Branch Derek Brown, reflects on the life and service of the former area representative.

Many of his former constituents like Brown, grappled with shock and sadness of this violent death.

Brown says Saunders brought quite a bit of positive community programs during this term.

Brown also spoke to Saunder’s passion for trying to stop the rampant violence.

He recalls that only days ago, Saunders spoke at a constituency meeting about the party’s plans to address crime.

His death, now amplifies the call for an end to the violence.

Amid the grief and anger, Saunders’ political comrade cautions the public to allow police time to investigate.

But, the one thing time will not change for him and many others are the life, legacy and service – the former MP leaves behind.
