Footage Shows Officers Standing Over Body of Trump Gunman

PENNSYLVANIA – Bodycam footage shows Secret Service and local law enforcement near the deceased gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, following the attempted assassination of Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania 10 days ago.

Crooks fired from a rooftop, killing one man and wounding two others before being shot by a counter-sniper. Trump was injured but survived.

The bodycam video was posted on X by Senator Chuck Grassley’s office and shows discussions between officers about the shooter, an abandoned bike, and detained crowd members.

Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle resigned over the security lapses, calling the shooting a significant operational failure.
