UNITED STATES – Ford is recalling over 456,000 Bronco Sport and Maverick vehicles due to a battery detection issue, posing crash risks.
The automaker says modules may fail to detect battery changes, leading to power loss and other electric malfunctions.
The recall spans model years 2021-2024 for Bronco Sports and 2022-2023 for Mavericks.
While no injuries reported, there are warranty claims, field reports, and complaints.
