NASSAU, BAHAMAS – There seems to be an increasing exchange of information between Royal Caribbean International and concerned environmentalists.

President and CEO of One Consultants Eric Carey, says environmentalists are encouraged after Royal Caribbean International released an outline of their environmental plans for the Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island.

The release highlights six cornerstones, zero waste-to-landfill, a goal to be on 100% renewable energy within the decade, a commitment to not dredge or build overwater cabanas.

But Carey says he’s still skeptical after seeing the transformation of what is now Coco Cay.
